K&H Excavating is based in Rosedale, in Parke County, and we work across west central Indiana. Most of our jobs fall within about 50 miles of home. For larger pond, dredging, clearing, and demolition projects, we travel up to 75 miles. That range includes Terre Haute, Bloomington, Lafayette, and Indianapolis.

Rosedale, IN
Rosedale is home base. Landowners, farmers, and ranchers here and across Parke County get the shortest drive time and the most flexibility on scheduling. It's where our work started, and it's still where most of it happens.
Terre Haute, IN
Terre Haute is the closest city to us, just a short drive south. We work on properties in and around Terre Haute and across Vigo County, from pond work on rural acreage to demolition on commercial sites.
Bloomington, IN
Bloomington and the surrounding countryside have plenty of wooded acreage and private land where ponds and clearing projects make sense. We take on larger projects in the Bloomington area. Ask about scheduling, since equipment has to be planned around the drive.
Lafayette, IN
Lafayette sits toward the northern edge of our range. We travel there for pond building, pond and lake dredging, land clearing, and commercial demolition projects that are large enough to justify moving heavy equipment.
Indianapolis, IN
Indianapolis and its surrounding counties sit at the eastern edge of where we work. We're a good fit there for landowners with acreage outside the city and for commercial demolition jobs that need excavators and haul trucks.
02How far we go
The drive is part of the job
Moving excavators and dozers takes time and planning, so how far we'll go depends on the job. A big pond build or a multi-week dredging project is worth the trip. A smaller job is a better fit closer to Rosedale. If you're not sure whether your property is in range, call and ask. We'll give you a straight answer.
Between Rosedale and the larger cities are dozens of smaller towns and plenty of farm country. Rosedale also sits about 10 to 15 miles from the Illinois state line, so our range crosses into eastern Illinois too, including around Paris and the farm country along the border.
